Lucie is an Appaloosa mare, who was 4 when she arrived. She was surrendered to the sanctuary along with her brother, Desi and mother Lucille. She was starving, confused and frightened. However, today she is happy, cared for and safe. She loves to play with her brother, as mama is always close by. We believe that those who suffer together hang together differently.
